Ramen Nagomi

I absolutely love Ramen Nagomi, I believe it is one of the best ramen places to go to in Central Jersey. The restaurant has its own aesthetic vibes to it which I personally like. It is cozy and a great place to catch up with friends. The waiters (not so much the hosts) are super friendly and great at what they do.

I know a lot of people mentioned that their ramen quality has gone down, but since I only started coming here end of 2019, I am in love with what they have. I always get their Nagomi Shoyu Ramen, it is hands down one of their best ramens. The broth is clear and smooth, yet the flavoring is still amazing. I love how their noodles are thin and chewy, which is different from other ramen places that I have been to. Although the pricing is a bit expensive (~$13-17), but most ramen places are around the same price. I do wish that they give you more meat though because sometimes I will get two tiny pieces of chashu which is a ripoff. Their Pork Floss Buns are also amazing. The pork floss and the sauce go hand in hand with each other and is the perfect appetizer. However, I do find it a very pricey, pork floss is super cheap at Asian markets and I can easily make this dish myself. However, they do charge around $6 for it which I find insane.

This place gets very crowded and popular during prime dinner time, so make sure you join the Yelp waitlist to reserve your spot. The waitlist is very accurate and I usually get seated on time.
